How the Fund Works

How the Blossum Wholesale Investment Fund Works

You should always know what your money is doing. With the Blossum Wholesale Investment Fund it does one clear job. It is lent against property, and you receive a monthly distribution.

1
You invest in the Fund
You invest in the Blossum Wholesale Investment Fund, a New Zealand PIE fund for wholesale investors.
2
The Fund lends against property
The Fund lends that capital to New Zealand businesses, secured by registered first and second mortgages over NZ property. Where the Fund holds a second mortgage, the first mortgagee is repaid before the Fund, so second-ranking loans carry higher risk.
3
Borrowers pay interest
Those secured loans pay interest back into the Fund, managed to a disciplined weighted average loan-to-value position.
4
You receive monthly distributions
The Fund distributes that fund income to you as monthly distributions. The Fund targets a return of 8% p.a. (after fees, before tax). Distributions are taxed at your PIR, capped at 28% for individuals.
